API Return Goods Policy
Merchandise must have at least seven months shelf life and all stickers removed. Products
returned will incur a 10% restocking fee (except for miss-picks, damaged, and short dated
merchandise shipped in error).
API can not accept non-pedigreed merchandise. Non-pedigreed merchandise includes all
Branded Rx purchased prior to September 1st, 2006 and may include a limited number of
Generic Rx.
A return authorization number needs to accompany all products being returned to the API
warehouse.
CREDIT CALCULATION
All credit will be issued at lowest calculated price in a 24-month period. Calculated price is
determined by the lowest API price of item during the last 24-month period.
SHORTAGES/OVERAGES
Shortages and overages should be reported within 48 hours of receipt of order. All orders are
double-checked for accuracy and verified by surveillance as they are pulled, packed and
shipped.
PROMOTIONAL AND SHORT DATED MDSE.
Promotional and short-dated products ordered through the API warehouse are non-returnable.
“RAGS” items may be returned at store’s expense between 60 and 90 days of invoice date with
no penalty.
SHIPPING
Customers are responsible for returning merchandise to the API warehouse except for misspicks,
damaged, and short dated merchandise shipped in error. In these instances API will issue
a call tag or reimburse customers’ freight charge.
