Ordering Procedures

Please familiarize yourself with the procedures listed below to ensure accurate order processing.

Monthly Orders

All API monthly orders are due by the twentieth day of each month unless otherwise noted on the packet. Late orders will be difficult to process.

Brand RX, Generic RX, and OTC Products may be ordered daily by 3:30 p.m. CST .

Internet ordering system at www.apirx.com
Scan & Toss Ordering software
Telxon
EDI through dispensing system
Fax or mail orders using API pre-printed order forms
Telephone 1.800.243.8521

We highly recommend ordering through our Internet ordering system at www.apirx.com or Scan & Toss ordering software. These are the easiest and most accurate ways to transmit orders. Cut off time for internet orders only is 4:30 p.m. CST . For more information, please call Devonna Talley at 1.800.243.8521.

Guidelines for Fax orders:

List OTC, RX, and Generic items on separate forms.
List your API account number, pharmacy name, and number of pages on every page of order form. (i.e. page 1 of 2, page 2 of 2 etc.)

Telxon Orders:

Transmit OTC, RX, and Generic items separately. (Three different orders.)
New customers, please call Devonna Smith ext. 242 at 1.800.243.8521 BEFORE transmitting your first order.
When batteries need to be changed, please make sure you re-enter your correct telxon account number. If you have any questions please call Devonna Smith.
